This feeling that I feel began last night when things didn't go according to my plan. You ever have those days that you feel off kilter and you don't know exactly how to get back on? I do. What I am learning is that these feelings are okay. It's okay to not always be "on", to not always have the answers, to not always feel 100. Today I'm an 80, but I'm okay with it...I just hope that you are too. The realization of where you are at any given moment is key to moving from that place (if it is not where you want to be). The thing that is complicated is communicating how you feel to others and having them understand that some days, due to circumstances beyond your control, you may not be all that they expect you to be. I don't like to concentrate on challenges as you may know, but it seems as though I have to air every challenge in my life for some people to understand that I can't be and do everything all the time.

(Huge Sigh)

Can I be real with you? According to the countdown on the right-hand side of my blog, I have 132 days left to complete my novel. 132 days to go out on a limb and believe that what I have set out to do is what I'm suppose to do and that the windows of heaven will open up and pour out a blessing in my life. 132 days of wondering what to do in the meantime, you know, the time when I'm not in front of the computer writing. 132 days of wondering how I will keep up my lifestyle and not loose friends because I can't do all the things they expect me to do or go all the places that they may expect me to go.

Just when I thought that my 80 was going to drop to a 70, a note was slipped underneath the door of my home. My niece knows when I start to feel a little bit down, so she felt that I could use a spa day. She invited me to come to her made up spa! I could do nothing but laugh and maintain a strong 80. I'm sure that after she works her magic on me I will be back to 100 in no time flat!

OMG that is so cute! I feel the same way you do today. I just want to go home and go to sleep and forget the day. I wish I would have that note slipped under my door. I am sure when I get home my dog will put on a cute little show for me where he dances around with his butt wiggling in all kinds of directions squeaking one of this toys. I love it!

True, it would be great to be at 100% everyday, but even God rested on the 7th day. Enjoy your day of rest and be refreshed to start a new day tomorrow.

  3. Yes, Toni! I guess we were on the same wave length! You should take some pics of your cute little dog wagging his tail and post them to your blog! I would love to see one of the things that lifts your spirits.

Anonymous - You are absolutely correct! I took your advise and am feeling much better today!
