Bonus post!
Okay, I get this formal invitation in the mail today that states "my presence has been requested" for the birthday celebration of David Martin. I think to myself and ask, is it beginning already? Are there people out there starting to take notice and request my mere presence? Before I let the excitement fill my head, I stopped and asked myself, who is David Martin? And, how did he or his people get my address? I personally don't know anyone by the name of David Martin and the name did not come up on any of my contact lists.

With questions looming, I took to the Internet and Google searched David Martin. Figuring this invite wasn't for David Martin the Science Professor from the University of Michigan, I have narrowed down my choices to either David Martin the recording artist (www.davidmartin.com) or David Martin the NFL player (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/). Or, I could be completely wrong and this could be some distant relative or forgotten of associate that decided to send me an invitation. Either way, the invite states that guests will "indulge in good music, drinks, and food," so I'm there!
Questions, what should I wear, should I bring a gift, and the invite didn't say anything about bringing guests, so do you want to come along?
I will have to wait until this Friday, January 15th, to see which David Martin has requested my presence. I will reveal who it is on Saturday, January 16th, with accompanying pictures from the night! This should be good...why not take a chance today!
